Tenerife
During my second trip to Spain, I visited a volcano, a small village swallowed by clouds and mountains, practiced my Spanish, and made friends on my flight after it was two hours delayed while we were on board. I spent a total of ten days in Tenerife.
Day 1- The flight was two hours delayed while on board. I read, listened to music, and talked to two girls my age seated next to me. We ate haribos and talked.
Day 2- Everything was new. The food was good, I practiced my Spanish with a waitress who even asked me if I was Spanish and said I spoke it really well. All I did was ask if they had any water and where it was, and when she asked me if I was Spanish I replied that I was Italian, but I learned Spanish at school.
Day 5- We visited Masca, the small village among the mountains. There were points along the road where clouds encircled the mountains. We ate at a typical Canarian restaurant, visited some natural pools, and ended up at a beach with natural black sand.
Day 7- Visited El Teide and learned about how it was formed. It is one of the tallest volcanos in Europe, and the tallest volcano in our galaxy is found on Mars. I found a bracelet made with river pearls on the floor.
